Sorry to vent but sometimes my life seems like a really bad joke. Just when I think things are getting good, I figure out the truth. Somewhere, someone may be watching with popcorn, laughing. Meanwhile, crying again. Amazing how one person can let you down so many times. And you’ll continue to want to believe and they’ll continue to let you down.
fuckthisiwillbeskinny: thehopedesign: The morning after. A story about waking up after an affair. Great video. I sadly know what this is like. Having been married (now divorced) and had affair after affair. The rush, the feeling you get during the affair does not nearly come close to the feeling of remorse for years life after. Great video hits close to home for sure
Have they perfected time travel yet? I need to get back to 2003! And not just in my dreams either… K, lemme know. -lady.

nutritionista: Last year, Rachel Wilkerson wrote a great post on her diet scale, which goes from Wendy’s and artificial sweetener to veggies and farmers’ markets. It’s a great post, and you all should read it. My diet scale is a bit simpler, and I think it’s time to share it. Level One is all…

If you have to ask someone to change, to tell you they love you, to bring wine...– — Sloane Crosley (How Did You Get This Number) I’ve posted this before, but really just needed the reminder today (via becauseitwasfun) I so get this. I’ve never been able to figure out where I belong. A bit too proper for rough. A bit too rough for proper. One part chameleon, perhaps another part hermit crab. Miraculously coexisting, peacefully enough. When I met you, I saw the same things. This was you, too. Manifested differently, the same unique ability to live in more than one world. I could understand. You could...
Awesome or Mediocre? It’s a constant, ongoing choice.
The Man Who Broke 1,000 Hearts
(scribbled during a particularly irrelevant meeting in January sometime.) You may think it impossible, Or an exaggerated tale. But have you ever met a girl? Heart torn in pieces, but all hope rarely lost. Keeps on coming back for more. Giving it one more shot, one more chance, of course he’s changed this time. One kiss on the cheek, one phone call late at night, and the heart...
hautelikecouture: “You are too funny. Your dedication to work is defined by what men you might potentially see” Well, how’s that for a dose of truth on a Friday morning. True!
